Visitors to the Singapore Airshow, to be held from 2 - 7 February 2010, will be able to see at first hand the advanced munitions and defense systems developed by Israel Military Industries (IMI). Encompassing a broad range of products and Technologies, from advanced smart munitions, targets and decoys to defensive systems, the display highlights Israel Military Industries broad range of activities.

Among the exhibits highlights are:

Aerial Weapons:

Helicopter Launched DELILAH: stand-off, loitering precision attack missile, offered in different versions designed also for fixed-wing aircraft, ships and ground launchers.

MPR-500: multi-purpose aerial weapon for F-15, F-16 and other aircraft offering enhanced penetration and fragmentation. Compatible with Mk-82, this weapon is adaptable to all guidance systems, including laser guided and JDAM kits.

ATALD: Advanced Tactical Air-Launched Decoy and Aerial Target is configurable with different payloads, designed for training as well as combat missions, effectively and realistically simulating aerial platforms of various types.

Smart Munitions:

IMI's 120mm GMM-Guided mortar bomb and MPRS - programmable rifle grenades system, are tailored for the challenging missions in asymmetric warfare. By employing measured, effective and precise lethality, these systems minimize the risk to friendly forces, while reducing collateral damage.

Active and Passive Protection:

IMI is developing the Iron Fist active protection systems intercepting rocket propelled grenades, anti-tank missiles and tank ammunition.IMI also offers active protection measures for light vehicles and dismounted forces applications – the Shock Absorber and Bright Arrow. Passive armor such as the Breakwater and Iron Wall are designed to defeat roadside Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) while warfighters trust the body armor plates made by IMI for personal protection. Pilots throughout the world depend on IMI's combat proven flares and chaff decoys for protecting aerial platforms against missile threats.
