The Advanced Systems Division (ASD) of Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI) is a vertically integrated developer and manufacturer of advanced weapon systems, sub-systems and ordnance for aerospace, combat land and naval platforms. ASD offers a full range of innovative, combat-proven solutions including electro-optically guided missiles, stand-off offensive weapons, advanced decoys and aerial targets and very short range, low-level air defense integrated systems (VSHORAD).
ASD comprises the following business units:
Guided Weapons Systems Business Unit:
Developing and producing aerial vehicles, advanced, precision attack air-to-ground weapons and guidance kits. Among the division's leading products are the range of DELILAH stand-off, loitering precision attack missile, with different yersions for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, ships and ground vehicles.
Land Systems Business Unit:
Among the unit's activities and products are the development and production of anti-tank missiles, very short range air defense systems (VSHORAD), soft-kill electro-optical jammer and various control units for land combat vehicles.
Decoys & Aerial Target Business Unit:
ASD has been the world pioneer in the field of tactical aerial decoys, with over 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of aerial decoys, combat proven with the Israel Air Force and the U.S Navy. The family of decoys developed at ASD includes the Tactical Air Launched Decoy (TALD), Improved Tactical Air Launched Decoy (ITALD) and the Advanced Tactical Air Launched Decoy and Aerial Target (ATALD).

• ATALD - Air-Launched Stand-Off Decoy and Aerial Target;
configurable with different payloads, it can carry out diverse
missions and simulate advanced RF, IR and Sea-Skimming targets.
• MSOV - Modular Stand-Off Vehicle, an aerial gliding weapon,
configurable with different types of payloads and submunitions.
• RED SKY-2 - Compact and mobile VSHORAD System, integrating
different types of IR MANPADS into an advanced, compact air defense
system.

RED SKY-2 - IMI's Red Sky-2 Very Short Range Air Defense (VSHORA) system provides unique and cost effective operational response against low altitude flying aircraft intruders. The system is manportable (backpacked by X soldiers), and is effective also against low flying surface skimming targets.
